Jason Conway Smith is the second son of Ronnie and Trudy Smith, who have lived and worked in Orange County their entire lives.

Jason met his wife, Kristen, in 2001, while they were both working at Lake Anna State Park. They were married one rainy fall day in 2005. Since then they have raised their son and daughter – Trenton, born in 2011, and Campbell, born in 2013 – in the home built by his great-great-grandfather in the 1850s.

When Kristen isn’t working at Dogwood Village, a nursing home and assisted living facility in Orange County, she is helping renovate their home, spending quality time with her neighbors, friends and family, and reading books about wizards.

Trenton enjoys art and mixed martial arts. Campbell plays softball and loves animals. Her favorites are Bailey and Cookie, two rescue schnauzers that enjoy barking at would-be intruders and couch cuddles.

Jason spends his free time with family and friends and enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and working on the farm. He also enjoys a good trivia night where he can show off his extensive knowledge of classic American cinema like Top Gun and Die Hard.
