Jason Conway Smith grew up on a family farm in the Lahore area of Orange County where he still lives today.

As a child, he expressed his passion for service by participating in his community.

Jason’s time in Boy Scouts took him from Tiger Cub to Eagle Scout, which he earned after rebuilding and renovating an Orange County Rescue Squad Station.

While attending Orange County Public Schools, Jason participated in football, soccer, and even appeared in several high school theater productions.

Before graduating with honors from Orange County High School in 2000, Jason was recognized by the United States Congress’ only non-profit and highest honor for youth civilians: he received the Silver and Gold Congressional Service Awards, which cites initiative, service, and achievement in America’s youth.
